What did the Easter bunny bring?

The Easter bunny came and brought William some goodies. We had an Easter Egg hunt in doors since it was wet and rainy out. It was at Mama's house.
Mikey, William and Ally really enjoy playing in the play room on the new bunk beds at mama's!

We will have to wait on more Easter pics from Nancy who took most of them. Will enjoyed Easter, although he isn't a big fan of candy- he could care less about chocolate and spit it out when we tried to give it to him. The buzz lightyear flash light aunt Wendy gave him was a huge hit!!

Read me a story!

William loves his books- of course he wants to read the same ones over and over........his favorites are baby colors, numbers and alphabet. Sunday, Alan got William up and fed him breakfast, but then Will wanted his shoes on, even though he wasn't really dressed yet (no pants on yet).......

and he loves his flash cards- mainly to stack and move around the house in piles.....OCD maybe? like mommy?

And he has figured out how to crawl onto the coffee table!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood HOA had an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday for all the kids. Will had a lot of fun!

We did have an 'accident' this weekend- Will ran down the sidewalk on Friday and flew over the step and fell face first. He has a nice strawberry on his head and nose. Poor kiddo looks like he went ten rounds!

Will liked finding eggs, but didn't really care for the candy itself.

William also had an egg hunt at day care too and made this cute mask.

And the best news this week is that mama (grandma) had her brain surgery (Monday) and all went well. She got to come home on Saturday! Now we plan to have Easter at her house and let her relax and enjoy. She is still recovering, but we are all so happy to have her home, recovering and healthy!!!!

April Fool's!

Here's a few pics of us just goofing around!
I also bought Will these animal flash cards this past weekend. He loves these cards, he likes to stack them and carry them around and pretend to read them!

Disney on Ice

Of course I am already trying to share my love to disney with William. Yesterday, my mom took us and my sister and her two kids to Disney On Ice in Dallas. He had a great time. I wasn't sure how he would do, since he won't sit longer than 5 minutes usually for anything. He won't watch tv. But he did great. He fell asleep about 2/3 of the way through and missed Peter Pan, but we still had a ball- thanks mama!

Spring is in the air!

William is really enjoying springtime! Here we are just getting ready for bed. He now sits at the big boy table and eats so good (usually!). He really loves hot dogs (turkey dogs) and cheese as well as green beans.
he is really into blocks lately, so we broke out the legos, although he hasn't figured out how to connect them, but he does enjoy just throwing them and picking them up.

Saturday morning- we eat breakfast in the living room and watch cartoons!

And my boy loves to vacuum. When i vacuum, he follows me around with his. he takes that thing all over the house, if only it really worked, huh?

William loves his slide and playground- here he is going down it. Our living room turns into a playground on the weekends, it almost looks like we have our own day care in there!

William also learned how the lion goes......rrrraaaawwwhhh! He does it very quietly and it is so cute!

The San Francisco Treat

It has been very busy here lately---we are both working a lot, especially me, work seems to find its way into my evenings and weekends a lot, although I am trying not to, so I can spend more time with Will!

So I had to go out of town for 5 days, 5 nights for work in San Francisco. Boy did i miss my little man! Alan held up the phone to him each night so he could hear me talk and Alan said he recognized me. Here is a picture of part of the booth in San Fran- the big Dermatology show and also the view out my hotel over downtown San Francisco. Unfortunately I got sick during the trip, so I didn't get to see anything other than the hotel and the convention center. William had lots of fun with his Daddy and his Granny who came into town for the weekend. Granny helped watch Will while Alan ran a 5k on Saturday. They both took Will out to his cousin's bday party on Sunday too, where Will fell in the bathroom and busted his lip open. Good thing I wasn't there for that with all the blood.
Will is very into his blocks these days! He loves to build them up and knock them down.

He is getting very good at holding his spoon, although scooping up food on his own is still taking some time.

Here is Will in his new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse robe from Mama!

Will's cousins, Ally and Michael came over last weekend, here they are having lunch, while the dogs wait for some scraps!

More blocks~! Will also knows now where his nose is, we are working on other body parts. he points to his nose when you ask!
