Teething Time again!

It's been a busy week at work for Alan and I. And we've had a rough week at night with William. Poor William.....teething time again. He has another molar coming in and has been waking up many times during the night. Poor guy has just been exhausted in the mornings from it. Next week William hits 15 months! Time for another doctor appt and see how much he has grown.

William really enjoys his bath time....he loves playing with his little basketball hoop and pirate boats. I think we found a new theme for his bathroom upstairs too- Mickey Mouse bath stuff on clearance on disney shopping.com! Guess we will be painting soon, maybe this weekend over the wallpaper and ordering some new stuff to make his bathroom more kid friendly.

William still loves playing with cars- here he has two at the same time- always multi-tasking, that boy!
We also got a kitchen set on clearance after Christmas for $20! Little did I know it had like a billion pieces to put together until I opened it, no wonder it was $20. good thing mommy is handy! he seems to enjoy it, but not as much as the real kitchen! We had to stick it in the hallway near our bedroom, the rest of the house is so full of toys already!

And lastly, he still loves the stairs. He is very good at climbing them and has never fell. We only let him go up when we are walking right behind him. otherwise the stairs are blocked off and off limits!

Back to the real world

Well the new year is already busy for the Peters family. William is thoroughly enjoying his plethera of toys from Christmas. He enjoys all of them!! William is continuing to get back on schedule at day care/montesorri. He also has one of his front molars already coming in, so we've had a few fussy nights. He really loves reading his books and playing. He is saying more sounds and words now- I think the current list is dada, baba, ball, book, light, uh-oh and beyond. Uh-oh is his favorite. He is making new sounds now, so I think maybe it won't be long until 'mama', we can hope, right? We visited the Dallas World Aquarium on Sunday before returning to the real world and work. William seemed to enjoy it. I think he will have a great time at the zoo this spring. He got tired near the end of it and just wanted out of his stroller to walk/run around. He was especially interested in the steps and wanted to just walk up and down the steps with my help. always the little things right?

Alan and William in the shark walk through- notice the huge shark behind them to the left. Will had a great time running through here.

Checking out the fish!

MERRY CHRISTMAS- Santa was good to us

THe Peters family had a great Christmas with William. We spent Christmas Eve at my mom's house as is tradition- with mexican food, drinks, games and way too many presents as usual! We always overdo it. we had a slight problem though- my sister Wendy and her family were sick.......my poor nephew Michael ended up with Scarlett fever, which is basically like strep with a rash. The doctor originally misdiagnosed him, after he was already around the whole rest of the family earlier in the week. So they all had to stay home to get well and not spread it around. We missed them though. We still had a really good time eating more than our fill, drinking margarita punch and playing yahtzee!

The huge amount of presents at mom's and this is just some of it!

William of course loved the wrapping paper!

It wasn't enough to be on our laps, William had to be in the middle of the Yahtzee action- right up on the table.
William really loved his new red wagon from Mama and Papa. the girls- back row- me, cousin Nancy, sister Mandy, front row- Ally, Mom, Aunt MarionThe poor dog- William likes to roll on top of Sassy.Christmas morning- hello Elmo! His new table and chairs from Aunt Wendy and Uncle Mike. Christmas lunch with parents and GrandpaSomeone found the oreosJust a little after lunch wagon ride.
someone couldn't make it through lunch today-.....he crashed out midway through. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Decorated for Christmas

the house is all decorated for the holidays!

Santa's almost here!

We've been very busy getting ready for Christmas the past few weeks. William even decided to help cook!
William also disovered the recycling bin and a few cans to bang together.

William also loves the dog bed- nice and comfy and covered with dog hair!
He is also very helpful with wrapping gifts!

He is now discovering how to climb on things......he stands on his little chair and tries to climb onto the couch!

Posing with mommy!
someone also likes to try and climb the stairs (supervised) and play upstairs

He still loves his little red car

and the latest......he has learned to throw fits. yay! Face down, screaming and crying, then he scoots himself across the floor face down, getting rug burns on his nose.
